Platform support is not the same as cross-play
A game can launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox without letting those networks connect to one another. The Missing Tail's official FAQ names all three platform families and separately says one copy is enough, but it does not describe shared accounts, cross-network invitations, or mixed-platform parties.
For that reason, a Steam player should not yet plan on inviting an Xbox or PlayStation partner. Two people on the same local system have the clearest confirmed route, while PC players also have Steam Remote Play Together.
